For a long time, they have been an indispensable dessert at wedding and holiday celebrations, and in 2018, the Ministry of Culture included the "art of preparing cukerančić from Pazin" in the list of intangible cultural heritage of the Republic of Croatia. Traditional Istrian cookie.
Ingredients: WHEAT flour type 550, sugar, MILK, white wine (contains SULFITE), EGG, butter (contains MILK), lemon, sunflower oil, strong alcoholic beverage 37,5% vol. alk. (demineralized water, refined ethyl alcohol, sugar, flavoring, coloring: caramel plain), WHEAT flour type 400, leavening agent: ammonium bicarbonate, vanilla sugar (sugar, flavoring: vanillin), baking powder [disintegrants (disodium diphosphate), sodium hydrogen carbonate), corn starch], bourbon vanilla flavored sugar (sugar, natural vanilla flavors with other natural flavors (contains MILK). May contain traces of other cereals containing GLUTEN, PEANUTS, SOY, NUTS and SESAME.
