Pale lemon in color, with a characteristic muscat aroma that gradually develops and is reminiscent of grapes, lime and ripe, juicy yellow citrus fruits. It is medium sweet with a lovely creamy texture, remaining vibrant and fresh. Very intense on the palate, it is best served at a temperature of 8-10°C, alongside fresh fruit-based desserts, fruit salads, apple pie, nut and almond cakes, as well as with white fish and mild blue cheeses.
The vineyards of the San Martino winery are located on the eastern coast of Istria near the village of Sveti Martin, close to Labin. At an altitude ranging from 270 to 330 m, they are surrounded by dense acacia forests, offering a beautiful view of the old town of Labin and Učka. The result of the work and efforts of generations in the Vretenar family is excellent fruit wines of exceptional structural balance and flavor.
