This wine has an intense aroma that brings freshness. Herbal notes, such as paprika, intertwine with fresh fruitiness reminiscent of delicate apples, red citrus fruits and wild strawberries. The taste is light and refreshing, with pleasant acidity and subtle sweetness in the background. A lively and juicy wine with a refreshing finish. It is recommended to serve at a temperature of 10°C with various salads and raw appetizers, as well as shellfish and shrimps buzara.
The vineyards of the San Martino winery are located on the eastern coast of Istria near the village of Sveti Martin, close to Labin. At an altitude ranging from 270 to 330 m, they are surrounded by dense acacia forests, offering a beautiful view of the old town of Labin and Učka. The result of the work and efforts of generations in the Vretenar family is excellent fruit wines of exceptional structural balance and flavor.
