The traditional and simple Istrian dessert pandešpanja is an airy sponge cake, flavored with vanilla and lemon zest. Although it is delicious on its own, it can also be used as a base for more complex cakes. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and enjoy with a cup of your favorite hot drink, decorate with pastry cream or pour melted chocolate over it!

Ingredients: EGGS, lemon zest, sugar, WHEAT flour, sunflower oil, bourbon vanilla flavored sugar (sugar, natural vanilla flavors with other natural flavors (contains MILK), ground vanilla pod), insoluble powdered sugar (dextrose, sugar, vegetable fats (palm), aromas).
